Portable Toilet Rental Guide
Everything you need to know before renting a portable toilet — sizing, placement, service frequency, and pricing.
How many portable toilets do I need?
A common guideline is one unit per 10 workers for a 40-hour week, or one unit per 50 guests for a 4-hour event. Add an extra unit for every additional 4 hours, or when alcohol is being served. Construction site requirements may be set by OSHA based on crew size.
Where should the unit be placed?
Choose a flat, firm surface within reach of the service truck. Avoid placing units on soft grass after heavy rain, and keep doors facing away from main traffic and public view. Maintain at least a 10-foot clearance for service and ventilation.
How often should units be serviced?
Standard service is weekly, which includes pumping, fresh deodorizer, restocked paper, and a thorough cleaning. Higher-traffic sites or multi-day events often benefit from twice-weekly service.
What's included in the rental?
All units come stocked with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and deodorizer on delivery. Locking doors, ventilation, and non-slip flooring are standard on every unit we rent.
